Owner and award winning tattoo artist, Fip Buchanan, began tattooing back in 1984, and is still considered to be among the most influential figures in San Diego tattoo history. 

 

Fip specializes in his own take on Japanese tattooing, but also loves American Traditional tattooing. His unique blend of the two diverse forms is recognized as his signature style.

Along with tattooing, Fip enjoys painting in oils and acrylics. He also does graphic designs for Avalon Tattoo and others throughout the years.
